Disabled American Veterans

Over the past 56 years the RLC CH 82 DAV helped tens of thousands of veterans and their families in the quad-county area of SWF including Charlotte, Sarasota, DeSoto and Lee. We are a nonprofit, fully unpaid volunteer organization. 100% of the funds donated t us are used to help local veterans and their families. This is done with the devoted efforts of trained Service Officer, Line Officers, office staff and other working volunteers. The help we give our local local veterans in winning their claims with the VA brings hundreds of thousands of dollars into our community. Over these past 50-plus years of CH 82 volunteer work, the actual figure of funds generated is in the millions of dollars.
