Birth is a natural part of life, but the experience can sometimes make new and expecting parents feel unprepared or overwhelmed. The Family Education/Support Department of Lee Health offers personalized and family centered care to prepare parents for the birth of a child. Mother-infant bonding is a vital part of the birth experience, and we strongly encourage breastfeeding. Our board-certified lactation consultants and certified breastfeeding counselors are available at two locations: Cape Coral Hospital HealthPark Medical Center Classes should be finished 3-4 weeks before your due date.
