Welcome to Optima Classical Academy (OCA), Fort Myers’ new tuition-free, K-8 school that delivers content-rich and virtuous education. Our unique approach to classical curriculum fosters a natural love for learning and thinking based on fundamental truths that are good, true and beautiful. Students learn about historical events, characters, stories, fables, myths, scientific facts, and mathematical proofs. Furthermore, they read the classics as whole books in great depth and learn to approach books both with motivation to learn and courage to question.
